You must be 16 years old to obtain a student pilot certificate and 17 years old to obtain a private pilot certificate. A US Government Photo ID is required as well as your Birth Certificate or Passport for TSA records. You should also be able to pass a FAA Physical with an Aviation Medical Examiner.
If you're looking to obtain your Private Pilot License (PPL), it's possible to achieve it in as little as three months, although most people take around 12 months. The length of your training largely depends on your dedication and drive. The FAA mandates a minimum requirement of 40 hours for a PPL, but it usually takes individuals between 50-70 hours to complete their training on average.

At Falcon, we understand that life happens, and we’ll always do our best to work with you if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. However, if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to show up for your scheduled time without notifying your instructor, a $200 cancellation fee will be charged. This fee reflects the cost of reserving both the instructor’s time and the aircraft. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
We appreciate the chance to answer any and all questions for prospective students!
